About Bibi Tasleyma Sattar

Dr. Bibi Tasleyma Sattar spent a decade as the owner of Oakmont Wellness Center in Fort Worth, Texas. During this time, she also served as an adjunct assistant professor at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and as a member of the clinical volunteer faculty at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. In 2021 she stepped away from her work at Oakmont Wellness Center to join Wellmed as a functional medicine physician. Dr. Bibi Tasleyma Sattar has provided Wellmed patients with a number of services during her time in this position. These include advanced lipidology, management of metabolic syndrome, and treatments for a variety of gastrointestinal conditions. After earning her doctor of osteopathy from the Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Sattar underwent medical training at Palmetto General Hospital and the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She is a member of several academic associations, including the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the Texas Osteopathic Medical Association.
